At Future we use a variety of tools to help us do better work, together. each tool has a purpose to aid collaboration, communication and improve how we work.
Slack is the foundation for teamwork. It brings all of our communication together, giving everyone a shared workspace where conversations are organized and accessible 🎉
It also helps you find the answers you need, you don’t have to go to every meeting to stay informed. Slack builds a searchable archive of our conversations, decisions, and work helping you stay connected to all that we are doing.
We have a few rules ✅
1. all internal communication happens through slack, never send an email internally unless YOU HAVE TO. it helps keeps us organised and makes comms simplier.
2. try keep to the channels topics - if a channel doesn't exist make one - the power is in your hands.
Trello's aim is to help us work more collaboratively and get more done
Trello works on the kanban methodology and it's boards, lists, and cards enable us to organise and prioritise projects as we want.
We currently work with Trello using the following process
google drive is where we store of all of our files. files in Drive are cloud based so can be reached from any smartphone, tablet, or computer.
it allows us to quickly create and collaborate with each other. using its in built apps Docs, Sheets and Slides we can easily share documents and files, build out spreadsheets and make a presentation.
like trello, drive contains folders related to business areas where you store all your work for that area of the business. as much as possible use the structure to store your work in the right place and make sure it's accessible and in the shared folders rather then locally in your own drive
typeform in it's purest form is a tool to create questionnaires. but they do it with beautiful interactions and lovely ux.
it's the tool we use for all forms of user input for data gathering and feedback.
zapier helps us connect the apps we use and automate workflows. it essentially moves info between our web apps automatically, so we can focus on our most important work.
right now the main zaps being used are between typeform and trello, but as we start to scale we will use it to help simplify our workflows.
1Password remembers all your passwords for you. Save your passwords and log in to sites with a single click. It's that simple.
You will have access to 2 vaults:
Future Shared: This is used to store all company passwords for all tools/sites/platforms we need to access and is shared between all team members.
Private: This is your own private vault to which only you have access so use as you wish.
Messagbird is our sms systems used to communicate with candidates. It is access through an online dashboard and where all candidate service delivery communications happens along with automated reminders and notifications.
Mailchimp is what we use as our mailing list database. It is used to mass email communication with a particular user group as well as regualr newsletter to our audiences.
HubSpot CRM is the tool we use to organize, track, and nurture our leads and clients.
It has loads of functionality and loads of integrations so has the ability to track every interaction with clients as well as clean dashboard to keep track of our pipeline and see where each client and lead is at.
Charlie is our HR management system. It is used to store employee details and organise any leave.
